Jalapeno Hummus

Jalapeno Hummus

1 can (15 oz)  Garbanzo Beans

1/3 Cup Tahini

2 T Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

2 Cloves Garlic

¼ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Plus 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Can 8oz Jalapenos

½ Tsp Salt

In colander, rinse and drain garbanzo beans. Put water aside from garbanzo beans. Combine garbanzo beans and garlic in food processor and puree until garlic is finely minced. Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula. Add tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and salt. Puree until ingredients are combined but mixture is semi course. If humus is too thick, add one tsp water from drained garbanzo beans, puree again. Transfer hummus to serving bowl and drizzle with 1 Tbsp Olive Oil. Serve with warm Pita Bread.
